Reading the formal elements constituting a work always carries the risk of distracting us from what is essential.

Our need to represent ourselves in art continues to be the trigger for a variety of material and stylistic resources, which serve as instruments of the perception that the artist has of others and themselves. Therefore, it is not a concern for me to try to be in accordance with fashion or trends, I only seek to take advantage of past experiences in the construction of a language that allows me, in addition to the pleasure and pain that creation entails, to fight against the pessimism that human condition causes me. Having gone through various crises that even led me to abandon painting itself, today I am a skeptic in the face of fashion and mass media.
